The Snowflakes Christmas Singles Club edition 2015 is out now!

Snowflakes Christmas Singles Club was started in 2013 to celebrate the (vinyl) Christmas single. That year, Smoke Fairies (London, UK), The Garlands (Stockholm, Sweden), The Miserable Rich (Brighton, UK) and The Silhouettes (Amsterdam, Holland) recorded singles, that were met with much critical acclaim. In 2014, Hannah Peel (London, UK) and Nancy Wallace (London, UK) recorded singles for the Snowflakes Christmas Singles Club.

This year's singles are by Terminal Gods (London, UK / gothic rock, limited to 350 copies on snow white vinyl), IKON (Melbourne, Australia / darkwave-postpunk, limited to 200 copies on snow white and 200 copies on blood red vinyl), Juniore (Paris, France / psychedelic indie pop, limited to 350 copies on snow white vinyl) and Tele Novellla (from Austin, TX, USA / indie pop, limited to 350 copies on snow white vinyl).

Just like with the previous editions, on the A-side, you'll find an original Christmas song and on the B-side a cover song.

As for the originals, Terminal Gods do a ballad-style lament in 'Boundless', IKON sing about Krampus, the Christmas devil, in 'Gruss Vom Krampus', Juniore do a dreamy sixties sounding song in French, 'De Saison' and Tele Novella bring The Nightmare Before Christmas to mind in their 'Christmas Spirit'.

Terminal Gods cover Chris Rea's 'Driving Home For Christmas', IKON cover the Christmas classic 'Little Drummer Boy', Juniore do a French language version of Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' and Tele Novella cover Marvin Gaye's 'Purple Snowflakes'.

You can find the records in the better UK indie shops and also through the Bandcamp and Big Cartel sites of Snowflakes - do some googling, and you'll find them!

Thanks for reading!
