Did you get a ticket for the ukulele orchestra? I'm tempted, apparently they played on XFM last week and are meant to be hilarious. |

House-hunting. Not going to see James Yorkston in Leeds (indolence has won). Remembering how to drive (As of this afternoon i own a car for the first time in my life - I haven't driven one for nearly 11 years though - so the streets of south-west Sheffield are only for the brave this weekend.) And work. |

Tonight - Mrs. Nanas is working so an evening at home guzzling beer, eating junk food whilst watching decent DVD's that I'm not normally allowed to watch at home cos she doesn't like them (Twin Town, Subway, Le Mans, Full Metal Jacket, Apocalypse Now etc.), or maybe even a fun nights PS2 action for a change - whoo-hoo! T'mra - Footie! Big game! Scummers verses The Stones - on the juice at lunchtime, go t' game, if we win drink some more, if we lose go home and kick the cat. Must admit, the thought of the ukulele orchestra of great britain has got me interested.....how good/bad could that night out be? Sunday - Up early working in Elstree....maybe get to make it to play footie if I'm lucky...prob. back to work in the arvo....home and collapse in a heap with cold beer and pizza. Wow, what a hectic lifestyle I've got! ![]() |

The usual weekend for me. Reading Roget's Thesaurus, supping Chianti and dreaming up countless poncy metaphors. I am Jilly Goolden. |

Los Pacaminos at the Half Moon Putney? Paul Young doing dodgy tex-mex cover versions in a cowboy costume? And you're talking about UKULELES? Come on, surely this can't be missed? ![]() http://www.los-pacaminos.com/ |

I have no money so I will be reading the work of St Thomas Aquinas, doing the gardening and watching lesbian porn. If I had money I would be going to see Paul 'get your gun' Young because as dear Nanas has said it is the funniest thing since... |
