Hello all, I will keep this short and to the point. My friend Lisa Morris has diabetes and was recently told by a London nightclub that she could not carry her insulin injection pens with her inside the venue. Having carried out further research it appears that there are other clubs with this policy. Diabetes can be fatal as insulin is vital for life: without insulin we would die. This policy is founded in ignorance. To put it another way, this is like an asthmatic having their inhaler confiscated from them when they try and enter a venue, and amounts to a ridiculous piece of ill-thought-out discrimination. Please sign this petition and forward the link to anyone and everyone you can to put a stop to people with diabetes having the very stuff that keeps them alive confiscated from them when they fancy having a night out! I never knew that! That's disgraceful! Sometimes I think I go through life with my eyes shut and my ears blocked! Also am I imagining things? Was this posted again under IanR?  I can't see that post now. If it was - hello IanR and if it wasn't can somebody help me? I'll sign the petiton for sure.
