You've gotta be joking with that New Order review. It's awful and on a par with Republic. Rather than take the strongest songs on Get Ready and develop them they took the weaker ones instead. Apart from Krafty and the title track nothing else on that album grabs me even after four/five listens now. And this from a massive new Order fan! Got your tickets for Hyde park yet? Nice looking site by the way. |

Nice looking and some very good reviews on there (eg The National). Couple of hopefully constructive grumbles - some of the reviews are too long (I can't be the only ADD afflicted reader who gets bored after 2 paragraphs) and secondly you've got links to Amazon purchases next to the reviews - I personally see a conflict of interest in attempting to sell CDs you've just reviewed... can impartiality be guaranteed? Still, that aside, keep up the good work. ![]() |
