Rhodes, I saw them recently and, trust me, they're awful. The band are competent if unremarkable, but their singer hasn't the first idea about how to be a front man. A more embarrassing attempt at onstage slapstick you'll rarely see. Witless, feeble and their best tune is a White Stripes cover (now come on). They are to ska what UB40 are to reggae. In short, avoid. |

Further risking losing the popular vote I'll stand up for Hard-Fi, saw them recently and Imliked them, the 2 singles are far and away their best stuff though. Saw Kaiser Chiefs last night, they are so lacking in material it's not funny. Thought their encore would consist of a second playing of one of the singles. |
