All a bit odd. BNP candidate gets caught with bomb making explosives and rocket launchers and for some reason it's not published on BBC and police play down the case. |

Yeah, that was posted the other week on the forum for Liverpool's No.1 band - Amsterdam. I think it missed the papers are the 2 accused weren't wearing veils at the time of their arrest. 
I posted it on the Weller forum the other week as well. Only got 1 reply. Didn't really surprise me though due to the fact that one of the moderators on there has links to the far right. And I'm talking right of the bnp. |

Actually I think Howdy, a person who I disagree on most things, has a point Cavey. I cannot think of anything why this report should have been supressed unless it was one of extreme national security. Which I doubt. My guess is once their target was known they may have been a bigger response from the intended. But that's pre assumption on my part. I think you mistook both Bazza's and Vodka V's comments and what they were trying to say - it seems that a Muslim cannot fart without the press coming down on them like a ton of bricks and I think their comments were fair enough in that if it was a Muslim or anyone of Asian or Arabic appearance it would have made the news. Unlike when the police get it wrong of course..... |

Okay, here's the Conspiracy Nutter version of what's going on: M15 have infiltrated a BNP splinter group and persuaded them to commit a terrorist atrocity whilst pretending to be fundamental Muslim extremists. They've done this to help justify the continued occupation of Iraq and the War on Terror. But, somehow, the Mersey-side police got wind of the BNP's activities and made an arrest. M15 then clamped down on the police who, in turn, clamped down on the media (with sideways pressure from the Home Office), so the whole thing is going to be buried under conflicting (but equally distracting) cries of "non-story" and "can't compromise national security". Go on, tell me that's not what happened. |
