that sucks vv.
my mum had athsma so bad she was basically permanently hospitalised till the age of about 12. bizarrely she "grew out of it" and by the time i was a teen it had all but gone. i can't remember the last time i saw her frantically scrabbling for an inhaler.
she also has potentially fatal nut and fish allergies as weel as less dangerous reactions to tomatoes, potatoes, anything furry, smoke, dust etc etc etc...
for some reason neither me nor my sister inherited a single one of her ailments.
met someone the other day who was allergic to onions. that must be a right bummer.
