the only time i have ever been to this sort of thing was in the 80s. somehow we were given tickets for that ben elton 'friday night live' that introduced so many 'alternative' comedians to fame and riches from arrival we were plied with free drinks, i suppose to make you more likely to laugh. the problem was that a supposedly live show lasting 1 hour took forever to record and we ended up quite squiffy and were banished to the balcony with the ugly people (thats not a joke, they hand picked those who would look good on the 'dance floor') unfortunately for them when we were being herded up there a few of us went 'off piste' as it were, and ended up wandering around these studios, into storerooms with all sorts of bits of kit from famous tv shows. apparently it held the show up for quite a long time to catch us all. the show itself was boring but by this time we had bbc stewards watching our every move i wouldnt bother again |

Oh gawd, and you'd need free booze for that one, Bovey! There is nothing funny about the male in all his glory. It's a sad sight to behold. Was it all in a similiar vein? (pardon the pun) Please tell me it wasn't. |

No, it wasn't like that when I saw it. More Fast Show than Little Britain. And you're wrong about the tackle. My plums bring gasps of admiration from dogs and sniffs of approval from stray dogs... |
