Ballboy
The legendary Edinburgh four-piece return to London for the first time since 2005. Ballboy combine uniquely humorous and clever lyrics against warm blankets of sound to create deeply poignant songs about everyday life. Huge favourites of the late, great John Peel and following in a rich vein of romantic guitar music similar to The Wedding Present, Ballboy are the shining light of the not-so-young sound of Scotland. The band is currently recording its fifth album and this show will be one of the first opportunities for fans to hear the results.
Ballboy's frontman Gordon McIntyre will also be doing an early solo set at the all-dayer.

Bearsuit
Stop-start boy/girl twee-rock cutie-killer six-piece with everything from cinematic waltzes to catchy electro disco and hard punk screaming riot grrrl noise. Comparisons have been made to Huggy Bear, Architecture in Helsinki, Belle and Sebastian and Sonic Youth. They have recently recorded their third full length LP which will be out on Fantastic Plastic very soon.

Shrag are a girl/boy group from Brighton, their single 'Intelligent Theft' is one of Spiral Scratch's favourite records of the moment. They feature ex-members of the Blue Minkies and have a sound that will remind you of Love is All, The Slits and Comet Gain. They've recently been entertaining the kids at Ladyfest Leeds and will be playing the Spiral Scratch all-dayer fresh from supporting NME darlings The Cribs on tour.

The Cut-Outs
