ALLO, DARLIN’
Allo Darlin' are many things. They can turn a room in a famous punk venue into a joyous, jumping, sweaty, pop-mosh pit. Or bring a room of 500 to hushed silence with the few strums of a ukulele and a love song about cooking. Among the many shows they’ve played have been Indietracks, Sŵn and SXSW festivals. They’ve had glowing reviews in places such as the Metro, The Fly and The Guardian, the latter calling their "Henry Rollins" single "the best indiepop song for years", while their next single “The Polaroid Song” made it into the Drowned in Sound Top 50 Singles of 2009. They've also had airplay on BBC Radio 1 & 2, BBC 6music and XFM and were recently selected by Steve Lamacq as his personal choice for BBC Radio’s Introducing week. Their debut album will be released in June 2010.

THE SMITTENS
The Smittens are a five-piece indiepop band from Burlington, Vermont and like to think of themselves as a DIY twee pop explosion. Dana Kaplan, Colin Clary, David Zacharis, Holly Chagnon, and Max Andrucki switch up instruments, song-writing, and singing to create brilliantly lyrical and hyper-catchy pop songs of all colors, shapes and sizes. Formed on a whim at a party in 2002 by a group of popkids who wanted to make for their friends the kind of music they love, the Smittens have emerged as one of the country’s best-loved underground indiepop quintets, with headlining slots in the past year at the New England, New York, Toledo, and Athens Popfests. The bands third album The Coolest Thing About Love, mixed by Eric Masunaga, is out now, on Athens, Georgia’s indie institution Happy Happy Birthday To Me. The critically acclaimed 'Gentlefication Now!' and 'A Little Revolution' are both now available through Happy Happy Birthday to Me.

ANTARCTICA TAKES IT!
When Stuart from Indietracks saw Antarctica Takes It! play at the recent SF Popfest he was so blown away he instantly offered the band a slot on this year’s bill. A few frantic e-mails later and their plane tickets were booked for London. Led by multi-instrumentalist Dylan McKeever, ATI! play indie folk and upbeat pop in the vein of Belle & Sebastian, The Decemberists, Sufjan Stevens and Aislers Set. Their second album, "Constellations", is out on the How Does It Feel To Be Loved? Record label on Aug 2.
