Following in the footsteps of The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart and Allo Darlin’, Evans The Death will be releasing their debut album via Fortuna POP! this year, preceded by first single 'Threads’ produced by Rory Bratwell (Test Icicles/RAT:ATT:AGG/Kasms) in July, and this is the release party!!!
Evans the Death make frenetic and infectious punk pop which exudes the kind of unbridled charisma, intelligence, and runaway energy that promises a singularly exciting future for the band. With their compellingly unhinged and hyper-intelligent pop the band - named after the undertaker in Dylan Thomas's Under Milk Wood - look set to blaze a trail through 2011 and beyond.

WARM BRAINS
Warm Brains is the new project from Rory Atwell (Test Icicles / Kasms).
Warm Brains is upbeat, danceable, messy indie rock that has a hint of melancholy. Musically it shares similarities with American Alt. Rock bands, such as a more upbeat Sebadoh or Pavement track, or perhaps The Rat by the Walkmen, but with a more British sensibility.
A new double A-side ‘Let Down' / 'Stone To Sand To Glass’ will be available from 18th July via Mashall Teller Records with an album to follow later in the year.
