____________________________________________________________________________________ Newer wave pop from the dark side... SEEING SCARLET new single Second Time - 7th May Download (available from and iTunes) & CD (Moore Brothers Music) ... “You don’t know it yet, but you will be mine..." The new Seeing Scarlet single, Second Time has already been compared to early Muse (Smash Music) and described as having a “gargantuan chorus of epic proportions” (Fuse). It's the second release from Seeing Scarlet’s critically acclaimed, Mental Notes (Part One). The previous track, 'Something's Not Right', picked up BBC 6music airplay and crashed the vote lines on Xfm radio, where is was play listed. With a growing word-of-mouth & net following, and increasing interest , the band find themselves one of this new year's tips and have been picking up some astonishingly (but deserved) great reviews and started getting noticed. “a real chance of being the next big thing” (thisislondon.co.uk) - The video for SECOND TIME is now up at SEEING (Scarlet) IS BELIEVING April 12 : Camden BARFLY (supporting Ghosts and Tiny Dancer) 49 Chalk Farm Road, London NW1 April 24 : GLASSWERK/XFM festival OUTBREAK 3 @ Purple Turtle (supporting Brigade) tickets £7 in advance via Festival web page (£9 on the door) 61-65 Crowndale Rd, London NW1 - 020 7383 4976 May 5th : LITTLE NAN JO JO LOVES... Festival (Rocklands) ...Seeing Scarlet don't disappoint where it counts. Live on stage. Their intense passion has packed out recent shows. “it wasn’t hard to see what the fuss is about. sharply suited and booted, they dispatched a number of hits in waiting...” “...knees buckle amid rapt fans in the front row..” “...the sort of hooks you could easily imagine being sung back from a muddy festival field” (london lite) Seeing Scarlet have kept busy recording, writing new material and making the video for Second Time. New shows are being confirmed for the near future, meanwhile, Mental Notes Part One is still winning great feedback. The Fly Magazine noted last month : "Like hardened glass these debut songs dazzle as much as they cut and make the promise that there's better to come". There is. Mental Notes Part Two is released in Summer. Charlie Beall (Lead Vocals) James Bell (Bass/Vocals) Tom Goodfellow (Guitar/Vocals) Charlie'Sticks'Layton (Drums) and Forum MySpace Group [/small] |
