SAINT JUDE
LONDON SHOW (Barfly 15th April)
and UK TOUR DATES with THE WATERBOYS
Britain is still producing timeless, classic, world class bands in the 21st century. SAINT JUDE are authentic and their mojo is definitely rising. Imagine a modern day Joplin singing Motown fronting a full on blues rock explosion. Prepare to be stunned.
SAINT JUDE have just finished working with legendary Stones producer Chris Kimsey and their debut EP, "DIARY OF A SOUL FIEND" is available now on iTunes.
SAINT JUDE formed by friends with a shared love of old soul and classic rock. They are certainly talented enough to climb the musical ladder of success with great live performances and an ability to soak up listeners with their tantric lyrics in a bath tub full of musical genius. They have an individual style - with influences as diverse as Aretha Franklin, Led Zeppelin, The Faces, The Black Crowes and Supergrass - and exude brilliance to the ears.
Fuelled by their love of vintage Rock n Roll , Old Soul and playing live, the band have set about forging their own unique sound. Add to this some incredible song writing, the stunning vocals of Lynne Jackaman and the raw power of a band at their peak, Saint Jude are ready to spread their rock and roll gospel to the world.
Reports say... "...An infuse of 70s style southern psychedelic rock, hard and catchy enough to make even the strongest non believers question their morals. ...The band poured their heart out into every sweat soaked blues note, keeping the audience moving, shaking and mesmerised throughout their set.”
Having just been personally invited by Pete Doherty to support Baby Shambles at their recent Rhythm Factory stint and with Ronnie Wood turning up to their shows they are now ready take to the road as special guests of The Waterboys next month. If you really love music then you really shouldn’t miss SAINT JUDE on this tour.
