Champion Kickboxer "Candlepower" 10 inch EP Release date 26th November 2007 “Candlepower” is the fourth release from Champion Kickboxer on Thee SPC and sees the Sheffield four-piece building substantially on the textures of their well-received 2006 album “Perforations” with five new, thoughtful and evocative songs. Listen to the entire EP streamed at Champion Kickboxer have always been hard to categorise and this new EP will, no doubt, continue their knack for confounding critics and confirm their reputation as the most enigmatic of bands. This release is available on a limited edition 10" vinyl EP. There are 300 numbered copies. This EP was recorded in Sheffield by Alan Smyth (producer of Arctic Monkeys, Long Blondes, Pulp, MSTU) and mixed by Kramer (former Butthole Surfer, whose production credits include Low, Galaxie 500, Daniel Johnston and Urge Overkill's "Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon" from the Pulp Fiction soundtrack!)
