Ladyfest Manchester 2008 is a non-profit, non-hierarchical community
based female focused arts and culture festival which will be taking place
from 7th to the 9th November 2008 at the Zion Arts Centre in Hulme.

Ladyfests have been taking place all over the world since the first event
in Olympia, Washington in 2000, all organised by independent groups of
volunteers but all sharing the same aim, to celebrate the work of women
in the creative and cultural arts. As well as music there will be workshops on a range of topics, dance and cabaret, comedy, art exhibitions and club nights. Ladyfest Manchester 2008 looks set to be an amazing event and is open to the appreciation of all regardless of gender, age, sexuality, class, ethnicity or ability.
