My name is Big Dan, And I am in a band that has just moved (along with our label) from the West Midlands to London. We are signed to Tough Love Records, have 3 releases including our debut album. We have played loads of ace gigs over the last couple of years including barfly gigs, Academy gigs, festivals, support slots for signed artists such as Jeffery Lewis, Final Fantasy, Akron/Family and The Wave Pictures. We managed to sell out our local venue in Coventry when we launched our album June 2008. We have played gigs in Spain, Japan and the USA.
Basically, we now need a manager to take charge of things now we have moved to London. We are looking for someone dedicated and willing to put in about 8-10 hours a week managing the band. The focus will be initially on gigs, then merch and future recordings. You would be looking at taking home a % of takings in return for your hard work. Experience managing bands and knowledge of the music industry is useful, but love of music and the band is essential.
