It's September, and we're getting heavy at dtyd and putting on an evening of serious rawwwwk for you all!
Headlining the night are the quite marvelous
We're big fans of these rock-tastic girls at dtyd towers, and snapped them up for a set after a bit of cheeky band scouting in Camden. We think they're going to be big, and once you've checked them out, we think you will too!
Second up are the quite brutal
These guys are the business. Tough guitars and relentless vocals give them a post-hardcore edge without any of that emo-style posturing. Hell yeah!
If they weren't enough, howsabout a bit of then? Wombat Wombat says they are "one of the most exciting bands to emerge in 2008" - we tend to agree...
Lastly, but definitely not least are The new project from a member of the now sadly defunct Patty Winters Show, An Achiever will be kicking things off with some bittersweet downtempo rock.
and, of course, after the bands the dancetillyoudie DJs will be peddling our usual nonsensical mix of alternative goodness until the sinful hour of 2am.
