On Saturday 17th January 2009 The Mourning After & Thee Strawberry Mynde are playing live at The Studio, Tower Street, Hartlepool, TS24 7HQ. Tickets are £6. Thee Strawberry Mynde will be recording their set that night using the venues 24 track studio and (if all goes well) releasing the live album on the Red Star Recordings label. It was a great night on Saturday. Must say that The Mourning After were on top form and there was a good crowd at The Studio A Go Go gig with people travelling to the gig from Carlisle, Newcastle, Leeds and even London! This was probably Thee Strawberry Mynde's last gig as a three piece as it looks like Donna will be joining the band on hammond organ. Look out for the next Studio A Go Go event which will feature French garage/psych band The Electric Suicide Club.
