Pick Your Poison @ the New Cross Inn, Friday 13th Feb 323 New Cross New cross London SE14 5PP On Friday, February 13th Pick Your Poison is going to have New Cross Inn Buzzing. The line-up boasts bands with some serious energy: Bacardiac Arrest: Begin with a healthy portion of Rhythm & Blues, add a dash of punk rock, a sprinkle of funk and bake in the fires of debauchery and you’ve got Lewisham’s Bacardiac Arrest. With an affinity for frenetic guitars riffs, a raucous rhythm section and lyrics that put a smile on your face, these gents are always a crowd favourite. Never ones to disappoint, this Band on the Rum is definitely a live act to behold. http://www.myspace.com/bacardiacarrest Dan Dunne & The Reels: A self-described medicine hat for a bad head, Dan Dunne & The Reels get audiences’ feet stomping and heads bopping with their jaunty fusion of blues, folk and rock. Think murder ballads written in the sunshine. Better bring your dancing shoes. http://www.myspace.com/dandunnethereels 23 Frames: SE London's 23 Frames are coming to the New Cross Inn to show off tunes from their recently recorded debut album, The Mystery Calculator. Come down and catch their finely-tuned yet blissfully rough around the edges indie rock. http://www.myspace.com/23frames Duppy: We've seen this band described as 'bleeptastic', and quite honestly, there isn't a word that decribes them better. Duppy is an electro-minded 3 piece that will make you get out on the floor and dance with reckless abandon. http://www.myspace.com/duppyband £3 Entry Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/even ... 8577214275 www.myspace.com/pickyourpoisonpromo |
