Brooklyn based experimental art rock band Xiu Xiu (pronounced shew shew) led by singer songwriter Jamie Stewart have announced a short major city UK tour to promote the release of their seventh studio album ‘Dear God - I Hate Myself’ and their latest single ‘Gray Death’ which is also the album’s opening track. Their sound is drawn from many different genres such as noise, post-punk, ambient, techno, synth pop, folk but with haunting confessional lyrics of emotional abuse, melancholy and despair that push out the boundaries of pop music.
