Retribution Gospel Choir Ruby Lounge High Street Manchester 11/03/10 Second album from Low side project featuring front man Alan Sparhawk and bassist Steve Garrington getting really good reviews. Just released on Sub Pop and appropriately titled ‘2’ the album offers ‘blue collar rock’n’roll sensibilities with a poppy cheek’ coupled with the odd quirkier offerings for the more adventurous listener. Uncut, Q Magazine and even The Times rate this release a massive 4/5.
