City Showcase Rising / performance opportunity. Date : Wednesday 14 September Rising presents Rosabella Gregory (headline) and open mic guests. Doors 7.30pm. Show 8pm. Curfew 11pm. Free Entry. Regal Room, The Distillers, 64 Fulham Palace Road, Hammersmith, London W6 9PH. City Showcase Rising - club night with approximately eight live, acoustic / semi acoustic, sets (approx 15 minutes each) of open mic with feedback panel comments after performances. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the music. There is also great food and drink available at the venue. The audience will include a panel of industry experts who will be listening to and mentoring the performers. Open Mic slots will be open to City Showcase members. (Join now at http://cityshowcase.co.uk or on the night!). If you are already a member (of the UK’s biggest musicians/music fans network) and want to perform, please let City Showcase know. The evening is headlined by Rosabella Gregory who has released two albums and already enjoyed a rich musical story which includes supporting Jools Holland, performing with Craig David and playing a session for BBC radio 2 with "Whispering" Bob Harris. She has won the International Prize in the New York Songwriter's Circle Song Contest and had music featured on film. Most recently, Rosabella appeared at the Station Sessions in St Pancras.
