The Carpels headlined their sold out One Beat Sunday festival in July. They are in the vanguard of placing The Midlands scene in 2012 music history. “Brum can stake a claim as the hottest place in UK indie” (NME). They star in Eyesee TV’s film 'The Neon Sessions' and are currently wowing at festivals like Kendal Calling (next stop Strawberry Fields). You bet Playhard want them back!

Youth is wasted on the young, so they say. Not in the case of Deadbeat Echoes. Four teenagers, musically / geographically mid way between Manchester and Liverpool. Pop music for people from the darker side of town. They recently supported The Charlatans, and with attention mounting this is a new musical movement to catch sooner rather than too late.;
