The Proctors
Originally formed in 1993 the band returned in 2009 on the back of interest via the internet and the release of unreleased demos on the Cloudberry Records label. They played their first ever live gig last year (for us of course) and so far this year they have released two sublime on Shelflife and Dufflecoat Records. This year alone they have played at London Popfest, Madrid Popfest,Indietracks and more recently at Indie Pop Days in Berlin. We are glad to welcome them back!
".....this is the sound 4AD would have made if they were an indiepop label" Sounds XP

Alpaca Sports
Sweden has been a hotbed of indiepop talent for several years now and Gothenburg based Alpaca Sports are no exception. Their music contains melodies and harmonies to die for as demonstrated by their recent single I Was Running relased jointly by Suzy Records in Sweden and Dufflecoat Records (UK).
You get girl/ boy vocals over some jangly Marr-esque style guitars... Think of bands like Los Campesinos and Allo Darlin’ and you’re not a million miles away from what you’re getting here. Norman Records

The Sunbathers
Influenced by the likes of The Marine Girls, Talulah Gosh, 1960's girls bands and 1980's pop The Sunbathers were formed way back in 2007 when guitarist Paul contacted his old friend Julie witha request for a lyricist/vocalist. They have released singles on Cloudberry Records and more recently on Dufflecoat and have been playing far and wide this year including appearances at this years indietracks festival and the Sheffield Pop Weekend.
The Sunbathers might follow the classical formula of many a C86/twee indiepop band (sweet female vocals, twee simple guitar pop tunes) but there is a reason a formula is classic i.e. it works and it works so well with this band. Trip TV

The Sunny Street
London based The Sunny Street were originally a two piece comprising of two French exiles, Remni & Delphine. Now joined by their Electronphonvintage colleagues Christos and Ian they they released their latest album Hidden For Decades on Peruvian label Plastilina Records in 2010. That was described as "'Gorgeous, melancholic pop in the lineage of New Order and Trembling Blue Stars."
The music is beautiful and honest. Ye Gods, I'm Simply Thrilled
"Hidden For Decades,’ out on Plastilina Records right now and if you like your pop songs dreamy, adorable, and catchy then you should most certainly check it out!" Skatterbrain
