THE LUCID DREAM:

'noisier northern hopes''
-NME Magazine

'reverb drenched majesty'
-The Fly

'beautiful traditional psychedelia'
-Lauren Laverne, BBC 6 Music

'jangly psychedelia, listeners tip of the week'
-Steve Lamacq, BBC Radio 2

The Lucid Dream were formed in Carlisle, Cumbria, in 2008.

On the back of 'Erbistock Mill' EP, and 3 sold-out 7" single releases ('Love In My Veins' 'Heartbreak Girl' 'Hits Me Like I'm Stoned'), the band have gained acclaim from the likes of NME, Q, Frank Skinner (Absolute Radio), Steve Lamacq (BBC Radio 2 'Listeners Tip of the Week'), and major support from BBC 6 Music (Nemone 'Record of the Weekend', Lauren Laverne, Gideon Coe, Tom Robinson).

Most recently, the band were selected as full UK tour support to A Place To Bury Strangers, and followed this up by supporting Death In Vegas. This was on the back of supports to Spectrum, Crocodiles, Captain Beefheart's 'The Magic Band', and The Aliens, to name a few.

The long awaited debut album, 'Songs Of Lies and Deceit', will be released on 1st July 2013 (on CD/download via Holy Are You Recordings, and on limited vinyl via The Great Pop Supplement).

THE SEE SEE:

'A band that have set themselves the challenge of writing memorable
songs in a style of music they already love, and they have achieved it'
- Will Hodgkinson, Mojo

'Channels the classicisms of Love-era LA with La’s era Liverpool; the private press country rock of Relatively Clean Rivers with the laconic, wasted drawled vocals of the junked-up 70s'
- Record Collector

'rather delicious. like a nice cheesecake and a glass of chablis'
-Brendan O’ Hare, Teenage Fanclub

'Downright Pretty'
-Uncut

'Sets out to write memorable songs in a style they already love, and they have achieved it'.
-MOJO

London-based The See See are Richard Olson, Pete Greenwood, Kevin Peyok, Paulie Cobra, Phil Anderson and Ben Swank who originally hail from as far apart as Malmoe (SE), Detroit (US), Leeds (UK) and Auckland (NZ). After four sold out 7" singles, (Up The Hill/Citadel Shuffle - GPS, Keep Your Head/Clap Your Hands and Shake a Chain - GPS, Mary Soul/Big Wheels- 360 Dgrs and Powers of Ten/Open up Your Door - Rank Records) three European tours and handpicked for support tours with both The Raconteurs and The Brian Jonestown Massacre and a reputation for lively, exuberant and occasionally chaotic live shows, The See See released their debut album on the Great Pop Supplement in a limited edition vinyl version in November 2010, it sold out in a day, got repressed and sold out again. The album also came out on CD via Dell'Orso records in February 2011.

This is a band who have now become a lush sum of their parts. Led by Richard Olson (who previously fronted acid folk rock band Eighteenth Day Of May) this London based group have on this record pooled their influences together to make an album of a perfect two halves, dishing up spun out ballads (Big Wheels, Fix Me Up), alongside euphoric, lazer guided instrumentals (Sunbleached) and ritualistic, daisy-chained rollercoasters (The Day That Was The Day).
