Are you going to Birthdays? Remind me where that is. I saw them a few years ago and they were mighty. Like the idea of seeing his Godness, Mick C, again. Have you heard Dan Kroha's album of gospel, folk & blues on Third Man? It's pretty good! |

I'm going. I seem to remember we both saw them previously at the same show in Nottingham, with the equally mighty Oblivians. Birthday's is at 33-35 Stoke Newington Road Capacity is only about 250, so imagine this may well be close to selling out. Possibility it may be switched to somewhere bigger if enough demand. Not my favourite venue. The two times I've been there (Hunx & His Punx and King Khan & BBQ) were both packed solid and wouldn't go back to a packed show there again unless it was something totally unmissable; likeThe Gories. Not heard Dan's new record. Thought the Warm Soda gig might also be up your street? |

This gig appears to have been switched to the Jazz Café and additional tickets are now on sale here: http://www.dirtywaterrecords.co.uk/shop ... ort=normal Not that the good folk at Dirty Water have thought of doing anything as competent as emailing people who have already bought tickets to tell them of the change of venue! |
