Righto. Myself and Westie have come up with this route which proves one thing we like more than music is fine ale (or should that be the other way round?)

We will start in the Crooked Billet in Upper Clapton and end in Hackney Central. This will be easier for people to get home from (Hackney Downs and Hackney Central BR Stations), quick bus rides to Dalston Junction (Overground) or Bethnal Green (Central line).

Our last pub crawl didn't actually make it to more than two pubs given the crap weather so hopefully we can stick to this in a sunnier (I hope) climate.

Meet in the Crooked Billet (nearest station is Clapton which you can get to from Liverpool Street) or 106, 253 or 254 from Hackney Central from 5.30pm onwards then:
Leave at 6.45 and head to the Clapton Hart (Antic) but has beer from excellent local and national micros.
From the Clapton Hart (8pm) from our longest walk of the night (approx 15mins) to the Plough for some of the Hackney Brewery's excellent ales
At 9-ish leave the plough for a brisk 10 minute walk to the UK's most beard friendly at the Cock Tavern which is home to the Howling Hops Brewery
Leave around 10-15 to the Pembury Tavern (Milton Brewery) by which time we should be in a decent enough state to play some pool and bar billiards......

Map and links to the pubs websites can be found at: http://batchgeo.com/map/2ddd56195be0d64 ... 07646a1280

See ya there.....

Good work Bola.

Pembury's pool table was nacked last time I was in there but hopefully it'll be alright.

We might have to take The Plough off this list. Was in there last night and it was vile. Hipsters galore and it seemed to have turned into a Latin American themed bar. I am hoping it was a one off due to the bank holiday but it was the quickest I have drunk a pint in years.

We ended up in a bar in a . Bottles only but beers from Kernel, ELB and Crate available.

Fancy replacing it with The Scillonian Club in Scilly? Great beer, amazing views of the sunset over some picturesque islands!

No passort required! Just get off at Aldgate and then turn left. Keep walking until you find it.

By my count I reckon we have about 18-20 people on this. Let's hope it's warm and we can stay outside.

'Ere Bola. Lower Clapton Road's having an 'Art Vinyl' moment right now. Opposite the Windsor Castle a shop called Bad Denim has opened. They sell pairs of shorts for about £190 (http://baddenim.co.uk/home/product-cate ... ape/short/) and pairs of jeans for about, oh I dunno, £475 (http://baddenim.co.uk/home/product/nsf-beck-jean-chalk/).

They also appear to have some aversion to selling jeans to women above a 30" waist. Which is nice of them.

Grr.

Are unicorns real? I do hope so. Will these times be adhered to? I miss first pub.

No Unicorns are not real. What is real is that we should be in the first pub until 7pm the latest then moving on to the Clapton Hart.
