For me it was actually quite reassuring (didn't want to go to Wembley anyway naaaa). Now to borrow from the JimGibb and repeat some thoughts from elsewhere...

Have to say well done to Yeovil (you'll see from earlier in the thread that I thought they deserved to at elast draw the first leg). We've been bottling under pressure all season - witness the FA Cup ties and the only decent performance in the run in being when it looked like Bristol City had it tied up anyway.

They say it takes a while for a manager to impose themselves, but let's face it, the more Calderwood has influenced, the more hopeless we look. OK so we had injuries, but he'd already started opting for Slack Jack and Dobbin ahead of our decent strikers. Plus transfer window was a real setback. While they'd both have had to go at the end of the season, the defence was built on Cullip and Southall gave us another option. Don't know how much choice we had (we ain't a big club any more) but hanging on to 'em would've been preferable.

Probably unwise to go sacking him now though. Probably.

I think Arsenal's huge jump in ground capacity helped boost the attendance figures. However these attendance figures aren't all they seem as City include season ticket sales in the match figures whether the ticket holder has shown up or not. As we were unelievably shite AND boring last season many season ticket holders stopped going meaning that the ground was 1/3rd empty but with not many tickets left for sale on the day.
