i used to work in a trendy bar in southampton. james beattie and kevin davies used to come in when they were still famous, and matt le tissier. i once served james beattie about ten pints of guinness, then on that night e got done for drink driving, and soon after was sold by southampton. so i like to think i had a small part to play in his downfall. he was an arrogant cock so i thought it was prety funny. fred dinage used to pop in too.

i'm not surprised that matt berry was getting off with somr hot girl. just a ferw words of that rich velvety baritone and i might to be tempted!

Last year right after Celebrity Big Brother ended I ended up eating at The Road House in Covent Garden. I realized shortly after sitting down that H from Steps was sitting right next to me on the other side of a chrome bar. I said hello but he was not very friendly. :-(

I just logged on to boast what I thought was an A-list sleb spot this morning .. Simon Cadell aka Jeffrey Fairbrother from Hi-de-Hi. However, I just checked his name on Wikipedia and it turns out he died in 1996!!

So either Wikipedia is wrong or I just saw the great man’s ghost ... I intend to let Ruth Madoc know of this ASAP
