was worth seeing for an undead Davina. In fact not bad all round if you like zombie flicks.

I watched this last night on catch up and thought it was very good actually. Some quite scary moments and I like the effects and camera shots. Love the David Brent type producer - especially when he threw the guy in the wheelchair at the zombie to save himself.

In fact I was speaking with my better half last night and we both agreed that zombies have become too fast for their own good - they used to be slow but now they move like lightning. The zombie in the wheelchair reminded me of how much easier it used to be to get away from them. Zombies terrify me.

I caught it for the first time last night. I don't like these fast zombies, which were used in the remake of Dawn of the Dead - dead people are dead - they're meant to shuffle along, not run marathons. But is is scary.

Good points - strong female heroines. Realistic head blasting. Gory - lots of innards chewing! Davina hamming it up and it working. Nice make up. Bad points - bad script (Brooker's rubbish). Bad acting. Running zombies. Most of the ideas are nicked from less good zombie movies like Diary of the Dead and Brooker is a clumsy social satirist compared to Romero.

I hope it ends with the Geordie announcer saying "28 days later"

It won't though.
