I read on a City forum that Jags was a Rag as a boy, though not particularly a diehard one so I doubt he was especially overjoyed at getting one over them. Not sure Fergie's come out of the whole thing with very much credit. It really wouldn't take much to be gracious in defeat when you think of how much United have won and probably will win this season. Instead he's ranted about the pitch and the ref ever since when realistically the only reason they lost was because he fielded a practical reserve team.

Still, this amuses me:

And some ridiculous choices on the penalty takers as well .. where were Scholes, Tevas et al ?

I’m mightily pissed off to be honest

I love Fergie for his passion. Go on the toffees! I was stuck on trains and tubes with Arsenal and Chelsea fans on Saturday. It was interesting. Boys are so silly when it comes to football.
