One Fathom Down are Tony Fathom, Jonny One and Dan Down. These psycho surf punk gunslingers are something else and they’ve taken to slaying audience with their finely honed guitar onslaughts. Melding poptastic surf guitars onto a punk rockin’ back beat. In their time they’ve supported surf legend Dick Dale. You’ll go nuts for One Fathom Down if you’ve ever downed your whisky to Man or Astroman, Link Wray or Guitar Wolf. They will feature on single number 3 in the Odd Box Singles club in 2011.

Baaneex blend woozy lo-fi pop with a big dirty guitars and a bucketful of pop hooks. This four piece from London have been ripping up a storm across London in their short time together. Their live shows are a rollercoaster of noise and energy. Part punk, part pop, all heart. The band will be releasing an EP on Odd Box records in early 2011.

Bracelettes play fast and furious Ramones inspired grrrlpunk. Satori and Ayako from Tokyo met in a punk record shop in London where Ayako works, and both took up instruments as beginners and started practicing in the shop – playing Ramones songs to start with, just like everybody else does. In the summer of 2009, Mark the drummer joined, and Bracelettes have been playing gigs with various bands, including Trash Kit, Veronica Falls, Ted Leo, Young Livers, and GBH! The band are going to feature on the Odd Box Singles Club (single 6) in 2011.

Get down to Dalston for this on Wednesday. It's gonna be well good.

(for those that don't know the venue - it's about the same distance from Dalston Junction as Bardens was (just in a different direction). The Victoria has an ACE backroom for shows, can't wait to see it in action for this night!
