And of course [ingenting] the only band on Labrador Records which sings in Swedish. There is also Vapnet, another Swedish language band, who I think have split and become someone else.

If you want a bit of dance music in the mix there are the likes of Tough Alliance who are incredible live or The Embassy. I am remebering loads more now such as Lasse Lindh, Montt Mardie, Jens Lekman (who I think is totally over rated) and Pelle Carlberg amongst others.

The Labrador site is great. I use it a lot. The Tough Alliance have a label themselves don't they? I think CEO might be a spin off band. Then there's The Knife and Fever Ray too. Sweden always seems to have good bands.

The only Monte Mardie song I've heard is the Pirate Bay one. Didn't think much of it to be honest...

Can we count Glasvegas? Their new drummer is Swedish apparently.
