Hoggboy have just finished recording their 2nd album for release very early next year. The album is going under the working title of '7 miles of love' (they don't have a fixation with numbers it's just a coincidence). New songs include current set favourites So Alone, 400 Boys, Get There, Sorry, Get Down and Lessons. The album has been recorded over the summer at 2 Fly, in Sheffield with the band producing. Richard Hawley and co-Hawley band member Colin Elliott are mixing the album at Yellow Arch.

Their last UK show was the live broadcast on Radio 1 with The Vines. Since then all they've done is travel. They're planning a tour in the UK to coincide with the album and maybe even a one-off Christmas show:

1 November: Santiago De Compostela, Spain @ Santirock Festival

(with Electric 6):
20 November: Vitoria, Spain @ Azkena
21 November: Madrid, Spain @ Aqualung
22 November: Valencia, Spain @ Republicca
23 November: Barcelona, Spain @ Razzmatazz Sala 2
