Pleased to see the Kostas Kenteris keeping it all in perspective - he's said:

Apparently he's hoping for a gold in the 200m over water.

He was 7 and I was 14 (or so). And I might've had a five point head start. (His mum ran our local badminton club and he and his brother used to come along every so often - his brother was rock, don't think I managed to get any more than a point off of him)
