FutureEverything and Wotgodforgot* Present Scout Niblett with support from EMA + SUUNS
FUTURE EVERYTHING FESTIVAL
Scout Niblett produces tender, fragile and beautiful music, crafting delicate songs out of a minimalistic palette of neat harmonies and raw guitar sounds. She has collaborated with Bonnie “Prince” Billy, Steve Albini and Chris Saligoe.
Support comes from Sunday Times Record of the Week artist EMA, (a.k.a Erika M. Anderson) an artist diverse in her musical styles, fusing lo-fi 4 track grunge with trashy dance beats and damaged girl-group ballads. The resultant experiments have led her to open for Throbbing Gristle’s latest US tour, whilst her work on redefining classic blues has seen a collaboration with the Kronos Quartet. Just released album "Past Life Martyred Saints" receiving high marks and excellent reviews from the UK music press.
Further support is from SUUNS (pronounced ‘soons’ we are told) – who are making waves across UK music press for their atmospheric, sometimes-stark, sometimes-minimalist, but always brilliant guitar anthems. NME described their sounds as ‘Television-meets-Battles’, whilst The Quietus picks up influences as diverse as Can and Cabaret Voltaire. Expect big things from this unassumingly brilliant band.
*Discounted entry to FutureEverything delegate holders £5.00 on the door (normal price £8.50)
