It's probably not something any of you want to think about, but I was just in the shower. I might be scruffy but I'm clean with it. Now I'm a bloke with a full head of hair. So I've got a bottle of shampoo, not fancy TV advertised, celebrity endorsed stuff or anything, just something to wash my hair. I also have some shower gel for the other bits. As a bloke I think that's perfectly acceptable. 2 bottles of stuff. Besides that I have a bar of soap which I use for shaving because it's cheaper than needless, poncey shaving foam. So that's me...
I Also have a girlfriend (well, she'll be a wife this time next week but it's much the same set up) and she doesn't have 2 bottles of stuff. She has a lot more for reasons I'll probably never understand.
I noticed one (which I'm guessing is some form of shampoo or conditioner) which is by a brand called Hair Supply - almost certainly borrowed from the Aussie soft rock band.
So after that boring story, the idea of this thread is companies who've nicked or changed band names for their own use like that. There's probably a company somewhere called Steps (possibly a gym or a firm that makes ladders or something) but that doesn't count because it's just a normal word.
So has anyone got any good examples? Hair Supply isn't great but I'm hoping it might get the ball rolling.
I'll also add the name of this cleaning firm that was spotted by a mate of mine who's a big fan of The Boss.
They were called Spruce Springclean.
Any more?
