can i just follow up that last post by saying that so so modern were very good last night?

tom allalone was also most excellent.

we were pretty good too, we thought, but we came on at the same time as the barbecue was opened for business, so not sure how many random folk actually saw us!

hehehe

Sorry about that...the BBQ fired up 30 minutes late due to a little problem we couldn't help - well it was either that or i was doing the cooking and honestly that wasn't a choice.

I kinda knew So So Modern would be good as I'd heard some very good reports from SXSW but all the synth action took me by surprise but they used them in ager which was ace. They're playing a few more London shows this week at places like Metro, Old Blue Last and 93 Feet East.

Tom Allalone was bloody ace too. Hopefully they'll be back in SW2 soon.

Nope, didn't see your band playing. Got there at about 8.15, got a beer sat outside and came in when we saw the So So Modern coming in. Left straight after, pretty much. Was going to go to Shoredith to see No Age but could be arsed in the end.
