Clearly, seeing the Libertines was an almighty gamble and I'd guess half the times I saw them they were so wasted the gig was pointless. Then again I was usually pretty hammered too.

And Simon Love will probably be the first to admit his solo acoustic performance down the Windmill a couple of months ago was not his finest moment. It certainly didn't reach the heady fuzzy bubbled heights of the combined Loves.

Agreed on that one, apart from that fantastic gig at the 100 Club we were at I was always a tad disapointed after seeing them. Then again, that was such a good gig that anything after that was always going to be a let down.
