Cyril Snear
Cyril Snear are a band from Manchester that play ambient music that is sometimes post-rock sometimes indie/alternative/shoegaze and are back to play for WotGodForGot with a whole bunch of new tunes. Atmospheric subtle guitars and complex drum patterns with the occasional vocals reminiscent of Americana singer song writer Josh Rouse. A band that is difficult to pin down musically and in the past there have been hints that their influences have come from My Bloody Valentine and Radiohead but their quest for originality has produced a blend that they can call their own sound. They have a free CD demo so for goodness sake do your self a favour and get a copy.
Last time we saw then they supported We Vs Death and These Monsters but these days they are band worth seeing for their own worth. Have a listen at
