The story goes that Wiltshire police asked an "intelligence officer" to report on the risk of disorder if junkie Pete played. The report said that band's tendency to "speed up and then slow down the music" could create a "whirlpool effect" and spark disorder.

Anyone care to pass judgement on anything other than Babyshambles' piss-poor music for once?

Babyshambles have some sparks of brilliance but they are extinguished by Doherty's unpredictable (or predictable depending on where you're standing) behaviour. However he is not a menace to society. He was a little poet and the media got to know it and they drunk him down like moet then discarded him like (rubbish with an oet on the end)

Now if you want to talk about music figures who are a danger to society bring forth the likes of Glitter but leave Pete to himself.
