The Marlborough: New Music Venue Seeking Bands and acts
The Marlborough is a brand new music venue located in the heart of South East London. Situated just behind Camberwell College of Art, the venue is already attracting a huge student crowd. After an extensive refurb,
the venue is finally ready to work on our live entainment.
So we're looking for bands and acts to play regular gigs for us. The regular events we have to offer are Sunday accustic sessions, a bi-weekly Battle of the Bands, where bands can compete to win a day in a recording
studio and a professionally produced demo, monthly Metal and Punk nights as well as eclectic gigs every Friday & Saturday. We also have a monthly SKA night in the works.
So if you've got what it takes we'd love to hear from you.
A Bit About The Marlborough
The new art gallery music bar party house in South East London is The Marlborough. A Camberwell/Peckham based mix of Only Fools & Horses, Spinal Tap, a tequila fountain, Phoenix Nights, the local art college,
various musicians racing round the garden on children's toys and a proper favourite with locals. It's run by the mavericks behind the infamous Paradise Bar /Six String(r.i.p.) who have installed a stage, PA, lights,
refurbishment, a juke box (the best tunes in Sarf London are being added in as we type - musicians, bring it on!) and a garden with a wall inviting outdoor art. Launched during this year's Artful event, and already
attracting Edinburgh Festival/Perrier Award faves for its Tuesday comedy nights and featuring some of the buzziest of the rising star circuit live on stage. Even The Magic Numbers were down supping Guinness and
watching Trevor Moss and Hannah Lou.
