Well, I'm sure I'd feel much worse if I weren't under such heavy sedation.

I went to the Welsh National Sheep Dog Trials in Bonvilston near Cardiff in 2007 and have to say that the local sheepdog trial fans are much more welcoming than Cardiff's football supporters.

Story in the paper today about a nightmare scenario one night next week with Birmingham, Cardiff, Swansea and Leeds fans all converging on London on the same day, one that Millwall are at home too... Aren't Cardiff and Swansea on the same train line too? Think it's Tuesday. Quiet night in methinks...

not content with choosing to show a game with 0-0 written all over it, with 2 minutes of extra time to go we lost pictures completely and saw adverts instead- meanwhile everton scored the winning goal.

Me too. It was fantastic. They were obviously trying to remedy it too cos the adverts started speeding up but by the time they'd switched back it was to a heap of celebrating Toffees. Best bit of ITV for yonks.

Ha! Me and the housemates were a bit confused and thought we'd sat on the remote or something so glad the phantom ad break was spotted by others too...

Summed up my evening - an absolutely atrocious game where next to fuck all happened and the only thing of interest that DID happen (even Lucas' sending off was fucking boring) ITV were in an ad break... excellent.

Still at least Gerrard went off early which shut Tyldesley up... any 'Pool game where he's commentating is always a trial.

Actually, anyone see Bruce Grobelaar's interview at half time?! That was excellent value...

I was on my sickbed listening to Radio Nottingham. That made me feel better...

ITV's football coverage is atrocious.
They showed 'highlights' of the Portsmouth match the other week with ONE camera covering the whole pitch. Worse still, that bloke from the Holiday programme and double-glazing salesman is presenting it!

The only redeeming last night quality was, indeed, the appearance of Bruce Grobelaar - I was certain that it would go to penalties after he 'predicted' it (he tends to know about these things )

Another gaffe was when Steve Rider said that Gabriel Clarke was interviewing 'Man of the Match Joleon Lescott', despite the fact that Jim Beglin gave that accolade to Phil Jagielka.
