Well I thought they looked like grandad shirts, which only grandads wear because they have given up wearing proper clothes. I expect them to turn up in long-johns next, with a bum-flap feature. Yea, that's the next step: an all-in-one, frictionless, suit. markmiwurdz.

I had thought they should just go back to the old colours because they don't seem to have come up with a new kit that suits - the red away kit is classic and perhaps the should adopt that and have done with it. Yes I know that there is no blue in the English flag, and wearing blue shorts might be some subliminal message about the act of union. But who says your kit has to reflect your national flag. The German flag doesn't have white it for a start. And blue in the Japan flag? Or in the Italian? Anyway, it was a silly bright blue (on my TV), and not navy blue....

Whatever, it's just more/mere consumerism ain't it. Football as a means of selling more/mere shirts (as promoted at Wembley last night): says it all really. I know everyone does it, but...oh, fuck it......

It's the kind of thing Elvis would wear to play 'soccer'. I don't care what they wear because they're shite and a bunch of hooker shaggers with egos that do not justify their brain cells.
I'm never watching another england game again and what makes this easy to stand by is the pure greed of companies gunning for their rights to show the games, away games in particular. The only sky in my house is what you see out of the window and that is how it's staying.

As a Forest fan I'd love to gainsay your assessment of Michael Dawson but too often his good defending comes as a result of clearing up his own mistakes. And he still does what he used to do at Forest - backing too far off an advancing midfielder and letting them get a shot in from 20 yards.
