i have my ex to thank for introducing me to alan tyler. have seen him a fair few times now. used to go to 'come on down and meet the folks' quite a lot a year or so back. he's a right old grouch, but he's got an amazing voice.

i've not seen him for at least 18 months now, so i really should check him out again!

I always thought The Men They Couldn't Hang were terribly underrated. If it wasn't for Shane and his gang cornering the market they might have done a lot better. I remember the NME joking that they'd formed a movement called 'musicians against success' in honour of their failure to sell records despite critical acclaim.

Milchman, Mick the Milk is underrated, yes, particularly as a singer. One of the great British rock n roll voices in my opinion.

Well done whoever said The Gun Club, and Vic Goddard.
