We've now been around for 10 years - and have outlived Osama Bin Laden, Katie Price's authorial career and Viva Brother. We were even around in the time long ago when Manchester City were skint. We're celebrating this anniversary with another Good Friday Good Taste all-day musical spectacular and we're mightily pleased with the line up:
SPARROW AND THE WORKSHOP
Sparrow and the Workshop are a three-piece based in Glasgow consisting of Belfast-born, Chicago-raised Jill O’Sullivan (vocals, acoustic guitar), Welshman Nick Packer (guitar, bass, basstard) and Scotsman Gregor Donaldson (drums, vocals). The band is notable for their use of harmonies and bastardized instruments/FX pedals and they have been compared to bands as varied as Jefferson Airplane, Talking Heads and Black Sabbath.
6 DAY RIOT
6 Day Riot is a London based band formed in 2006 featuring Tamara Schlesinger (vocals, ukulele, guitar), Daniel Deavin (drums), Gabriel Lucena (guitar), Edd Harwood (upright bass) and Rachel Coleshill (violin, accordion). 6 Day Riot have an individual, eclectic sound, taking on influences from folk and pop music.
THE NUNS
"We are The Nuns. We love The Monks. We play their songs. We're an all-lady six-piece band"
DIGNAN PORCH
"the group touch down into the effects-heavy shoegaze/dream pop world with some lovely vocals and harmonics but they really fly when they unashamedly let loose on the slacker guitar-hero stuff.". - Rough Trade
Y NIWL
Y Niwl (“The Fog”) are an alternative-rock “surf” band from Gwynedd, Wales, United Kingdom.
SINGING ADAMS (solo)
On any other day the ex-Broken Family Band singer would be headlining with his pithy pop band but on the 6th April he'll be serenading the early birds and flying solo.
OWL AND MOUSE

Hannah and assorted friends making beguiling ukelele pop with a penchant for low key cover tunes. Think Allo Darlin' snogging The Magnetic Fields and you'll be getting warm.
THE HORSES OF INSTRUCTION

The Horses of Instruction are setting forth to explore the genres of Odd-Pop and Sci-Fi-Country. Their soon-to-be released EP 'Atlas' contains songs about disgruntled mythical figures, comforting attitudes about the universe, and exploding planets.
