Right, that seems to have blown over. Somewhere back at the beginning was an article...

As only an occasional gig goer (by this board's standards, I go to loads compared to many people...) I'm not sure whether the number of venues is a problem. Sheffield has lost the Grapes and the Boardwalk, which is a shame but there are quite a few Grapes size venues and the Boardwalk had long since become largely the haunt of the tribute band. Places like the Harley are filling the gap. There'll be loads going off for free at Tramlines.

The problem for yer actual paying gig in Sheffield is that, as often as not, for anyone who's not either flavour of the month or packing nostalgia value there's no bugger there. The venue's OK just empty. I'm almost as guilty as anyone but then again I've always thought the live thing was a bit over-rated. Give me a decent record any day...

Went to the Windmill on Saturday. Spoke to a few people about the incident - none of them had heard about it/gave that much of a shit about it. The venue was typically busy and everyone was happy. Good.

Pretty sure that the army of retweeters will have something else to concern themselves and their pithy attention spans with this week. As is always the order of things.

After seeing the jacket Cliff Richard was wearing on Centre Court yesterday, I think he's overdue a boycott myself... #boycottCliff

I think they should be playing to 'all ages' - 13-17 year olds. They're like a trio of vicky pollard wannabe gangsters - they had a post up on their facebook that said something along the lines of 'if I had a knife i'd cut his balls off' (except it was said in their speak which was something along the lines of 'me got blade and shank his nuffs out' or something like that)

Seriously, what is it all about? Why would anybody give them the time of day? Their music is crap and their attitude. It's a carcrash of a situation.

P.S - I think Delia should shank their nuffs out or something innit? *squigs from cheeky bottle of vodka*
