Belhaven brewery is about 10 minutes walk from my front door and one of my mates from school was the youngest son of the chief executive/majority share holder – as teenagers his house parties were the best ticket in town! For his 21st (which was New Year’s Eve) his dad turned over a Belhaven owned pub in Aberdeen to us for the night and let us indulge as much as we wanted, great times! I remember on the journey home the next day thinking 'this is going to be a good year' as I listened to City beating Everton 2-1....only for the Toffees to equalise late in injury time during the 30 second window of me exciting the car, opening the front door and switching the tv on - I still hate you Radzinski!!

Sorry off at a tangent there, back to your discussion.

Brewdog seem too obsessed with producing loopy juice for my liking. I went to that Camden pub of theirs twice and both times the 'weakest' beer had run out so out of about 6 offerings none were under 5.2%.

I am with you on that. Try Thornbridge Jaipur on draft to the craft (keg) version and I know which one I would prefer.

I reckon I should organise a Cask v Keg pub Crawl!
