The Candy Twins
Bizarrely compared with Paul Weller and the Kinks on the press release, this five track EP is actually prime time 80s jangly indiepop. If you can get past the trademark flat vocals and the tendency to drag out each track out by about a minute longer than they should, you'll discover a collection of catchy hook dripping tunes with the added bonus of rather nice soothing strings. A Younger Crowd is the pick and available here in both English and German. The show-offs. Oh and the chorus to track three sounds a bit like the theme from Black Adder. And that's a good thing.
