Outfit XOYO

Outfit are a band of mainly 80s signifiers: punk-funk, drum pads, morose vocals, Factory, dodgy shirts, Cocteau Twins noise-guitar; and ravey 'up all night' proclamations. Their moody synth pop meandering occasionally lost shape and they substituted drive for a stodgy indie thumping. A foray into Jeff Buckley-like solo balladry also broke momentum. But when they unleashed their inner Hot Chip they have a lot going for them: bouncing enthusiasm, infectious tunes, room rumbling bass lines, and engaging danceable songs.
